Overview

Bellona Temple is a purpose-driven housing initiative designed to support women—particularly veterans and healing arts practitioners—through stabilized, sustainable living. Project Context & Strategy

Bellona Temple originated as a healing-centered concept informed by trauma-aware care and clinical experience. As the vision evolved, it became clear that the core of the work was not treatment, but place. The challenge was to shift the narrative toward housing without losing the values of care, safety, and restoration that shaped the initiative from the beginning.

The brand needed to communicate stability and professionalism while remaining warm and human, speaking to multiple audiences at once: potential residents, community partners, and professional stakeholders. It also needed to feel enduring and trustworthy, capable of growing alongside a long-term residency model still in development without appearing institutional or clinical.

The final brand presents Bellona Temple as a place to rebuild, not a program to fix. A clear mission grounded in housing and sustainability is supported by a flexible logo system, an earth-inspired color palette, and messaging that invites trust while honoring trauma-informed values.

Today, Bellona Temple is positioned as a developing housing initiative with a strong ethical foundation and long-term vision—communicating stability without rigidity, care without saviorism, and professionalism without detachment. The identity lays the groundwork for future growth, partner outreach, and resident trust, supporting a housing model where recovery, purpose, and self-sufficiency are able to take root.
