Overview
In partnership with the City of San Antonio, Herospace reached out for additional support in providing free digital services to small, local businesses impacted by active construction. Through the program, I was assigned accounts to offer free 1-hour consultations, while some businesses qualified for additional digital services such as marketing, content creation, or web design.

Project Story
Our collaboration began in April 2024, after a mutual contact introduced us to help handle the high volume of businesses participating in the program. It was a perfect match for my passion for digital services and supporting local entrepreneurs.
The biggest challenge was coordinating with solo or small-team business owners who had limited availability. To improve response rates, I would meet some business owners in person at their locations or follow up via text and calls, rather than relying solely on email or automated systems. These personal touches helped build trust, strengthened relationships, and ensured each business felt supported.
This project was a truly enlightening experience. I met incredible small-business owners, heard their stories, and learned to tailor solutions to their unique needs. It also honed my skills in UI/UX design, problem-solving, and client communication. The program wrapped up at the end of June 2025, leaving me grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the growth and resilience of local businesses.
