Digital Mockup of Soup Laws’ Website
Overview
What began as a quick one-day landing page for a proposal evolved into a full creative partnership. Soup, San Antonio’s Friendly Neighborhood Street Artist, needed a digital presence that matched both his artistry and his voice. Together, we built not only a customized website, but also an e-commerce platform, social media ecosystem, merchandising line, and long-term business development strategies.

Project Story
When I met Soup in 2023, he had just launched his LLC and was finishing up his entrepreneurial checklist. Known as a community pillar in San Antonio’s street art scene for decades, he already had a strong presence online and in person—but needed a brand structure that matched his artistry and opened new opportunities.
The biggest challenge was striking a balance between professionalism and authenticity. Soup is recognized and loved for his approachable personality, punk-rock edge, and welcoming tone. My goal was to design a brand system that honored all of these qualities while still being taken seriously by decision-makers.
To achieve this, I built a layered communication style:
First-person tone for warmth and direct community connection
Third-person professionalism for official documentation, proposals, and outreach
This flexible voice, paired with customized visuals, made his brand both approachable and polished. The feedback has been affirming—community members admire the personal feel, while local leaders recognize its professionalism and function.
Since launching his customized website and establishing systems for business development, content creation, and merchandising, Soup has closed over $40K in projects. His digital presence now amplifies the reach of his work, helps foster stronger community engagement, and has expanded his opportunities as both an artist and entrepreneur.
