In partnership with Koasis Media, I led creative support for River North’s only food hall, Make Ready Market. They were seeking a partnership to grow brand awareness and community engagement, which resulted in a year-long collaboration covering social media content & management, newsletter development, web design, event activations, print mailers, boosted content, placement ad management, and brand guide development.

Project Story
Our collaboration kicked off in March 2024 with a Happy Easter reel on social media. Make Ready Market had just soft-opened and needed to establish brand awareness for their growing community, leveraging both print/digital marketing and event activations.
The biggest challenge was creating cohesive storytelling imagery, videos, and graphics without existing brand guidelines. As the team navigated the early logistics of launching a new food hall, we were ready to respond quickly and creatively to any need. Every piece of content was crafted with the same care and intention as the development of the food hall itself, ultimately creating a rich, interactive content archive for the businesses inside the space to use for their own social channels. The mentality was always: “High tides lift all ships.”
This project was my first full-length experience in marketing strategy and management. I took on a director role, leading weekly to bi-weekly meetings with food hall tenants and stakeholders to ensure alignment across all decision-makers and participants. I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow as a leader, collaborate with passionate entrepreneurs, and see firsthand how creativity can amplify community engagement.
