Overview

Color Me Everything was my debut solo exhibition at Carbon Bloom, blending mixed media, vibrant color, and immersive installation to explore themes of self-worth, perception, and artistic identity. The show challenged the idea that artists are defined by a single medium, instead celebrating versatility and transformation through bold visual storytelling.

Project Story

Color Me Everything is a celebration of artistic freedom and the vibrant in-betweens that shape who we are. Through acrylic, photography, textile, illustration, watercolor, digital design, and murals, the show paints a picture of what it means to be a creative who never picked just one lane.

Each piece is a reminder that our worth isn’t defined by sticking to a single style, medium, or path—it lives in the messy, colorful mix of it all. From childhood nostalgia to creative imposter syndrome, the works explore the joy, weirdness, and wonder of simply creating. This exhibit is for the artists who’ve ever felt “too much,” “not enough,” or somewhere in between.

The show came to life through Carbon Bloom’s open call in January 2025. At the time, I had never even been in a group show, and I wasn’t sure if I was ready for a solo exhibition. But I leaned into the opportunity, building confidence one project at a time, until I was ready to bring seven different mediums together in one space—each echoing the experiments, risks, and loves of my creative journey.
